Local Connect
We are trialling a new program that we have developed called Local Connect – which is an online membership that gives our families the chance to find other ladybug families in their local area.
You can express your interest by joining now. Depending on the results during our trial period, we will assess the sustainability and suitability of this program. The safety of our community is always our top priority.
Any connections made through Local Connect are intended to be akin to a ‘play date’ or catch-up between registered families. They are not formal events run by Yellow Ladybugs.
To ensure meet-ups are safe and pose minimal risk, each family wishing to participate in ‘Local Connect’ must have the following details to join and access details:
- Provided proof of a current Working with Children’s Check relevant to your State or Territory: Working With Children Checks
- Completed the online e-learning module ‘Introduction to National Principles for Child Safe Organisations: National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
- Read and agree with the Yellow Ladybugs:
- Guidelines for External Parties Engaging with Children 2023
- Commitment to Child Safe Standards 2023
